More than 750 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi, health officials report
The Mississippi State Department of Health reported Sunday morning that the state has 95 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 758 confirmed cases. In addition, another person has died, bringing the state total to 14.
Numbers are current as of 6 p.m. Saturday and were released at 10 a.m. Sunday.
In South Mississippi, COVID-19 cases reported are 43 in Harrison, 34 in Jackson, 15 in Hancock, 27 in Pearl River and 3 in George counties. Stone County does not have any reported cases.
The additional death reported Saturday was in Wilkinson County.
