7/30 – Rob’s Thursday Morning Forecast

With a weak stationary front in the northern Gulf, showers and t-storms have developed along the coastal counties this morning. The activity is moving slowly to the SW and will continue through late morning…then diminish. With sufficient day-time heating, the activity will redevelop this afternoon through this evening. As a cold front moves into central Mississippi tomorrow, rain % will continue to be fairly high, and then decrease through the weekend as the front washes out. DANGEROUS HEAT will continue to dominate the Gulf South through the weekend, along with the slight possibility for SEVERE STORMS this afternoon.
