7/11 – Rob’s “Steamy” Monday Afternoon Forecast

Isolated showers/t-storms from earlier continue to pop in the local area. This afternoon will bring a 40% chance for t-storms with the activity tapering-off this evening. As a tropical air mass continue to be confined to the gulf states…a few showers can be expected overnight as well. High-pressure will continue to block the SE from any major frontal systems, but with a very buoyant air mass advecting in from the gulf, the workweek will bring elevated rain potential.
