7/23 – Chris’s “Hot Temperatures Ahead” Sunday Night Forecast
The dog days of summer are here to stay this week. A stationary boundary will begin to move out of the area tomorrow into the start of the work week. High pressure will once again become the dominant feature this week. This will cause an increase in daytime highs and decrease in rain chances. This week we will see temperatures in the low to mid 90s with plenty of sunshine on tap. If there is any good news dew points will slightly drop a tad which will decrease heat indices.
Rain chances become elevated for Wednesday through the end of the week as we return to a typical summertime pattern as a stationary front is in the area. Temperatures for the weekend return to close to average with elevated rain chances for Saturday and Sunday.
