6/28 – Rob’s “Gloomy” Afternoon Forecast

As a cold front in north Mississippi continues to move very slowly south, it’s going to be a cloudy afternoon with showers and thunderstorms on-tap this afternoon heading into this evening. Elevated rain chances will continue to be above 60% through Wednesday night as the front will push through the area and into the northern Gulf. In its wake, a weak stationary front will linger along the gulf south through the 4th of July weekend…this will keep rain chances in the area but relatively low, around 20/30% Thursday through Sunday.
