6/23 – Rob’s “Friday Eve” Forecast

For the 1st weekend of the season, high-pressure aloft centered over Texas is beginning to spread further east over the gulf coast states. This will generally remain over the area through the rest of this week and weekend. Subsiding air from this will keep rain chances at a minimum, but a few random showers or storms are possible. This lack of activity combined with higher-pressure will allow high temperatures to rise into the mid 90s the next several days…heat indices will be around 105 degrees.
