With high-pressure dominating the gulf south, HOTTER temps can be expected later this week into the weekend. Suppression of the atmosphere coupled with daytime heating will push the mercury into the mid/upper 90 by Friday through the weekend. Drier air moving into the region WON’T bring any relief as rain potential will be low to non-existent through Friday.
