6/10 – Rob’s Friday/Weekend Forecast

Not much has changes with the overall pattern. High-pressure from the Tennessee valley is moving south into our area, along with a stationary front in the northern Gulf beginning to dissipate. This scenario will provide for HOT temps, low humidity and the slight possibility for a few afternoon t-storms today. Heading into the weekend, an area of lower pressure aloft will move off the Texas coast and begin to break down the high-pressure. This will bring  a tropical air mass back into the area and increase rain potential during sunrise and then again during the afternoon. The humidity will also begin to rebound later this afternoon into the weekend.
