6/7 – Jeff Vorick’s “Thunderstorm Chances” Wednesday Evening Forecast

Isolated thunderstorm chances will be around this evening. As daytime heating goes away, rain chances will diminish. Expect mild and humid conditions overnight with cloud coverage clearing somewhat. Patches of light fog cannot be ruled out.

Your Thursday will be much like today with plenty of sunshine and isolated rain chances. Temperatures could be a degree or two hotter but rain coverage will be fairly limited. Heat index values will be in the 90s so plan accordingly.

Towards the end of this week and into this weekend, a weakening cold front will make it into our region. It will help provide for more scattered thunderstorm chances Friday and into this weekend. But, there won’t be any appreciable changes with it. A very hot pattern has the potential to build in next week.
