6/13 – Jeff’s “Continued Heat” Tuesday Night Forecast
It will remain warm overnight as temperatures will not drop significantly. The humidity will remain in place as we are in meteorological summer. There is the low-end potential for a shower/thunderstorm overnight. Isolated thunderstorm chances will be around the next couple of days as there are thunderstorm complexes moving through the region and daily local influences. Some of the storm track could swing southward towards Thursday/Friday.
Outside of rain chances, the heat will be oppressive at times. Temperatures in the low-to-mid 90s and a heat index well into the 100s will be around for the end of this week into this weekend. Take necessary precautions including hydrating, sunscreen, and trying to limit time outdoors.
