6/13 – Jeff Vorick’s “Spotty Rain Chances” Tuesday Evening Forecast

Clouds took a very slight edge off of the heat today. Some spotty rain has popped up here and there. It will remain very warm overnight with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 70s thanks to the humid airmass. Some low cloud/light fog issues are possible late tonight.

The hot and humid pattern will remain in place. The storm track will also be locked in place with slight variations each day. 30% rain chances are around for Wednesday and Thursday with pop-up thunderstorms in the equation. Thursday has the possibility of thunderstorm complexes diving far enough into our area.

Heat will become more hazardous later this week. Humidity will continue to elevate and temperatures will be up another notch. It will feel like over 100 degrees at the end of this week and into the weekend. Take all necessary precautions!
