5/18 – Rob’s “Hump Day” Afternoon Forecast

With a cold front to the south, DENSE FOG has lifted as cloudy skies continue. A NW wind in the low-levels of the atmosphere will begin to erode the clouds and bring a bit of SUNSHINE this afternoon. A few showers will develop along the coastal counties as WARM & HUMID conditions continue with drier conditions through Thursday afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will move back into he area Thursday with HEAVY RAINFALL expected Friday…mid-morning through Friday night. Rain will exit to the east before sunrise Saturday with the clouds thinning through the day.
