5/5 – Jeff’s “Unsettled Weekend” Friday Night Forecast

Much quieter conditions overnight as compared to the two rounds of thunderstorms our area received earlier. Warm and humid conditions will remain in the forecast for the foreseeable future. Saturday could be busy again with elevated rain chances. Cannot totally rule out a round of rain in the morning but it looks like the best rain chances will be for your Saturday afternoon and evening. The best chances for showers and thunderstorms will be along the beachfront.

Sunday will provide for more dry time and even sunshine. Temperatures will be quite warm, and 20% rain chances for pop-up thunderstorms are in play. Monday will feature the potential for thunderstorm complexes to affect South Mississippi much like today. The pattern will look to be fairly consistent for the middle-to-latter portions of next week. Wednesday and Thursday appear to have lower rain chances while Friday brings the potential for more activity.
