5/24 – Jeff Vorick’s “Isolated Showers/Thunderstorms” Wednesday Evening Forecast
Clouds have broken up somewhat which provided for some warmth for the latter portions of today. Very isolated shower and thunderstorm chances will come to an end this evening. Mostly cloudy skies will gradually clear out overnight. Temperatures will be fairly comfortable overnight as northeasterly flow continues.
Skies will be much clearer tomorrow. That will allow for temperatures to warm up very quickly for your Thursday. However, drier air will be working in so the warmth will not be stifling. Much of the same will continue to end the week as we work towards the holiday weekend. The main feature shaping the pattern will be low pressure off to our east.
A strong area of low pressure will move up the Atlantic Coast this weekend. It will be the stronger of two features. A much weaker disturbance will move into our area. However, it will not provide for much more than some clouds and low-end rain chances.
