5/19 – Jeff’s “Weekend Rain Chances” Friday Night Forecast

Mild conditions with increasing humidity will be what we see tonight. Into tomorrow, there will be rain chances for your Saturday afternoon. A washout is not expected by any means but have alternative plans just in case. A cold front will be moving through the region, which combining with daytime heating could bring scattered thunderstorms. There is the low-end potential for a few of them to get strong with strong winds and large hail.

The cold front will help winds shift to a primarily northerly flow for the second half of the weekend. This will provide for a slightly drier feel to the air for the beginning of the week. A combination of the front stalling and the pattern remaining somewhat unsettled will leave low-end rain chances around for the first half of the week.
