5/16 – Rob Martin’s “Even Warmer” Friday Night Forecast

Beyond this evening, high-pressure attempts to build into the area for Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect lows in the upper 60s later tonight, with highs nudging 90 again Tuesday through most of the week.

Overall medium range models continue to be in fairly good agreement and continue to show a hot and rather humid forecast through the workweek with no rain until late Saturday and on Sunday. With an overall southerly flow and persistent humidity, elevated overnight temps will develop this week, starting out in the lower 70s and increasing to the mid 70s by Wednesday…definitely an air-conditioning type of week.

The high starts to break down Friday, leading to decent chances for storms to return both Saturday and Sunday.
