4/27 – Rob’s “Severe Threat” Forecast

A cold front which brought SEVERE STORMS to the C-Plain through the Mid-West yesterday afternoon…is moving east and now beginning to affect the gulf coast. A warm & humid air mass will continue to fuel this system as it moves across the region. Today will bring showers and thunderstorms beginning late morning/midday through this evening before tapering-off. The cold front will stay north of the coast and move east keeping rain potential around 40% Thursday before dropping off to 20% by Friday. The weekend will start of dry with showers and thunderstorms Sunday to close-out the weekend.
