4/24 – Rob’s Friday/Weekend Forecast

High-pressure in the northern Gulf of Mexico kept t-storms at a minimum yesterday and over the outer coastal waters. Today will bring much of the same with a few t-storms onshore. An approaching low-pressure system will bring scattered t-storms with a few storms become severe. The Storm Prediction Center has the area in a "SLIGHT THREAT" for severe storms though midday tomorrow. The rain will end by midday Saturday with partial clearing Saturday afternoon. Sunday will bring a mixture of sun and clouds with rain moving back in late Monday.
