4/12 – Jeff Vorick’s “Rainy” Wednesday Evening Forecast

Rain has arrived for coastal Mississippi. Expect rounds of steady rain to continue this evening into the overnight hours. There will be a break at some point before daybreak before more rainfall will be around for Thursday morning.

Coastal impacts from the area of low pressure will gradually ease overnight with marine alerts and coastal flood alerts expiring overnight. Winds will remain breezy tomorrow. Also, chances for showers and thunderstorms will gradually lower throughout the day. Dry time can be expected by sunset tomorrow.

Friday will be a warmer, drier, and brighter day across South Mississippi. A system will make it into our region this weekend. Rain chances will be elevated Saturday ahead of a cold front. That will clear the area Sunday and provide for quiet conditions to start off next week.
