3/7 – Rob Afternoon “Impending Weather” Forecast

Light showers from earlier this morning continues with isolated t-storms developing to the west. Rain chances will slowly increase from 40% through this afternoon to 80% this evening as a cold front moves into the area. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has SW and Northern Mississippi in an area for SEVERE WEATHER (a SLIGHT THREAT). The activity will begin to move east by midnight or shortly after as the frontal boundary departs the area. A brief period of dry conditions will diminish Friday as another front moves into the area.
