33rd annual Christmas in the Pass
As the Christmas festivities continue on the Coast, the 33rd annual Christmas in the Pass took place tonight.
Pass Christian residents gathered downtown for a night filled with Christmas spirit. The DeLisle Elementary School Choir performed Christmas carols as everyone waited on Santa’s arrival. After Mr. and Mrs. Claus arrived, it was time to light up the Christmas tree.
In its 33rd year, Christmas in the Pass continues to grow every year as the community comes together for some Christmas cheer. Resident Dorothy Roberts said, “It’s a family fun event. I can remember when I bought my children here. This is the first year my grandson isn’t with me because he’s feeling under the weather, but it’s a family fun event. That’s what makes it so special. It starts our Christmas season off.”
The festivities are just getting started in Pass Christian as a pet parade will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m.
