3/21 – Rob’s “Beginning of Spring” Forecast

As high-pressure to the NW moves closer to the area, lighter winds will prevail through today. Temps will continue to be on the cold side…with afternoon highs about 10 degrees colder than normal…with warming over the next few days. A cold front will move into the central plain by Wednesday and begin affecting the forecast area Thursday. A SLIGHT THREAT for SEVERE STORMS will be in the area Thursday as the cold front will push a squall line in advance of the actual weather. Good Friday will bring a clearing from the rain with the boundary moving back into the area Sat/Sun. Easter Sunday will bring an elevated chance for showers and thunderstorms.
