3/13 – Rob’s Gloomy Monday Forecast

After clearing skies late yesterday, the clouds along with rain have moved back into the area. Showers moving north over the sound and into the southern 6 will continue this morning. The activity will increase towards midday/afternoon as a cold front approaches from the NW. This will mainly provide rain with a few embedded t-storms. The rain will tapper-off and move to the east this evening with colder/drier air to move in from the NW. Winter will make a final push this last week before the official start of Spring…temps Wed/Thur mornings will dip into the 30s. Temps will rebound St. Patrick’s Day into the final weekend of Winter.
