3/10 – Rob Knight’s Friday/Weekend Forecast

This morning as a HUMID WIND from the south continues in advance of an approaching cold front…areas of PATCHY FOG has developed. The cold front will move into and through the southern 6 with showers and t-storms mid-morning thought early afternoon…then linger over the northern GOM. Another cold front will affect the area with isolated afternoon t-storms Saturday, with the activity increasing overnight into Sunday morning with the POTENTIAL for HEAVY RAIN. Cloudy skies will continue through Sunday into the beginning of next week, with clearing as cooler/drier air will begin to move into the Gulf coast.
