Newton Done With Black Quarterback Questions

Super bowl 50 will kick off this weekend, but before then Panthers quarterback Cam Newton continues to field questions about his race and not the actual game.
On Sunday, Newton will be the 6th black quarterback to start a super bowl.
Doug Williams, Steve McNair, Donovan McNabb, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson all helped blaze a trail for Newton.

But he says in 2016 he doesn’t want to simply be labeled a black quarterback.

Manziel Likely Out In Cleveland

According an ESPN report, Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will probably be released from the team sometime in march when the NFL salary cap increases.
The Browns issued a statement yesterday that said Manziel’s continual involvement in incidents that run counter to their expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of the organization.
After his rookie season he checked into rehab and treatment for 10 weeks for undisclosed reasons.
Last weekend, Fort Worth, Texas Police were called for an alleged assault that Manziel was involved in with his girlfriend.
