2nd Annual Harbor’s Christmas Boat Parade in Ocean Springs is on Dec. 13th
“We want to invite everyone to come out and watch the lighted boat parade,” says Harbor Master Danny Jalanivich. “It’s a fun family event that both boaters and spectators will enjoy.”
The Parade’s lead boat will be accompanied by Grand Marshall Bobby Cox, Ocean Springs Alderman and Parade Marshall Troy Ross, Jackson County Supervisor.
Parade participants are asked to register their boats by Thursday, December 4th at 4 p.m. at the Harbor Office. A Captain’s Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 11th at 6 p.m. Every boat entry will get commemorative coffee mugs courtesy of Seymour Engineering.
There is no entry fee, however parade organizers are requesting boaters donate non-perishable food items for The Lord is My Help. The public is also welcome to donate. A drop box will be set up at the Harbor Office through December 13th.
