27th annual Crawfish Music Festival begins

It was day one of the 27th annual Crawfish Music Festival. It is five days filled with music, rides, and delicious mud bugs.

For 27 years this event continues to get bigger and better. You name it, they got it from ferris wheels to the crawfish cookoff, you really can’t go wrong with how you enjoy the rest of the week.

Locals on the Coast tell News 25 just how much they enjoy this family-friendly event every year. Lauren Means said, “I like the Gulf Coast. We always get to do fun things. It means a lot to us to come out here with the kids.”

Vyshaun Means said, “It is always great to spend time with the family.”

Kids five and under will have free admission. For children ages six to 12, it is $9 general admission.
