2/24 – Rob’s “Storm Clean-up” Forecast

In the wake of yesterday’s system, crews are out assessing damage and verifying SEVERE STORMS from last night. The low-pressure system and associated cold front is now to the east affecting the Atlantic states. A TIGHT GRADIENT will continue to bring STRONG WINDS to the area with gusts into the 20/30 mph range through this evening before calming down. Wrap-around moisture will keep a low cloud deck in the area with more in the way of sunshine this afternoon…along with clearing skies overnight. Heading towards Friday and the weekend, high-pressure will dominate providing for sunny skies and cool temps in the 60s.
