21st annual Cruisin’ Parade

Some hotrods were cruisin’ around in the City of Long Beach’s 21st annual Cruisin’ the Coast Parade.
This year’s event featured over 550 classic cars from around the country. The route began on Cleveland Avenue right in front of the Long Beach High School and strolled all the way down to the Long Beach Harbor.
Glenn Butler drove in all the way from Corpus Christi, Texas just to attend this year’s Cruisin’ the Coast event. He tells News 25 he and his wife waited 15 years to come out and enjoy all the classic cars. “We have a couple other classics, but we like the special interest cars, a ’59 Chevrolet on a four wheel drive Blazer chassis, a 1978 Blazer, it’s powered by a 1985 454 Chevrolet with a four speed and we’re having a lot of fun, a lot of waves, a lot of horn honking. It’s just pure fun.”
This is just one of the many events going on this week for Cruisin’ the Coast. For the full line of events click here.
