The Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges is extending its recruiting dead period on Thursday through May 31st.
The unanimous decision is a response to the NJCAA deciding to lifts it national recruiting ban starting Friday.
Commissioner Steve Martin says he fully supports the decision and that it’s consistent with the schedule of schools staying closed through the end of May.
