After a very wet, gray week along the Gulf Coast, our weather pattern is finally changing.
Rain will continue to clear the region overnight, and by Friday morning, sunshine will return to the area. The sunny skies will come with much colder temperatures though. Low temperatures overnight will dip into the mid 30s with gusty winds making it feel likes it’s in the 20s by Friday morning.
Windy conditions will likely continue through the afternoon Friday with sustained winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
Low temperatures Friday night will be close to freezing, ranging between 33 and 35 degrees on the coast. Inland locations may drop into the lower 30s. If winds calm down, there is a possibility of frost forming by Saturday morning.
Sunny skies will continue Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures in the upper 50s and mid 60s, respectively.
