It’s the last day to visit Hancock County’s temporary business recovery center if you would like to apply for assistance after your business was damaged from last year’s toxic algae bloom.
The SBA’s Hancock Resource Center, located on Highway 90 in Waveland, will be open until 4 p.m. today.
It’s SBA’s last temporary recovery center that was set up here on the Coast to assist business owners adversely impacted from that algae bloom on the Mississippi Gulf Coast from June 22nd to October 5th.
While you can visit the Waveland center in person today until 4 p.m., you still have time to apply. The application deadline is not until October 16th.
If you can’t drop in today, visit disasterloan.sba.gov to put in your application.
