An anonymous video uploaded to YouTube claims to offer evidence into the case of a missing Hancock County man.
According to Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Brennan Simolke fled from his vehicle into the woods during a July 24th traffic stop. He hasn’t been seen since.
A group of women talk about disposing Simolke’s jewelry in the video claiming to have new evidence on his disappearance.
According to our media partners at the Sun Herald, investigators have said that the video offers up no new evidence. The video has over 12,000 shares.
News 25 sat down with Missy Simolke, Brennan’s mother, who just wants Brennan home. “The not knowing and hearing the stories day in, day out. We just want to get him home, you know because his brother doesn’t have closure, I don’t have closure, his friends don’t have closure.”
News 25 did reach out to Sheriff Ricky Adam with the Hancock County’s Sheriff Department, but he has yet to respond.
