Hundreds of Harrison County seniors had the chance to celebrate the holidays this morning during their annual Christmas party.
Around 350 people attended the party hosted at the Woolmarket Senior Center. Attendees enjoyed a nice lunch, listened to a children’s choir and had the chance to sing a little karaoke.
Woolmarket Senior Center Director Janet Meaut tells News 25 this is something the seniors look forward to each year. “This is great for them to get out and go to the other centers and meet. So they can all just come together and they like to discuss what they do, what someone else does. It just does them good to get out and be with some of the other centers.”
If you would like to get involved with events like this head out to any of the Harrison County Senior Centers and fill out a form to register.
