George County High School senior dies in Highway 26 crash

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)– An 18-year-old riding a bicycle on Highway 26 died Friday night after being hit by a vehicle, according to Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Tyree Bradley was on his bicycle around 8:15 p.m. Friday night, when a Ford Explorer SUV traveling westbound on the highway collided with him.

Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a senior at George County High School, and since Friday’s crash, tributes to him have been posted social media all weekend long, including from the high school and the school district. 

The cause of the crash is now under investigation by Mississippi Highway Patrol.
