They’re revving up for a field trip of sorts that attracts car enthusiasts from across the nation!
We’re talking the 23rd annual Cruisin’ the Coast here in South Mississippi.
This year’s coast-wide Cruisin’ rolls out October 6th through the 13th and some cities have already put their traffic plans to place and are ready to roll for this year’s event.
The city of Ocean Springs will be a hot spot Thursday, October 10th through Sunday, October 12th as the city celebrates and puts on special events for this year’s Cruisin’.
Here’s a look at some of the road closures in the downtown area of the city those three days, starting with sections for Washington Avenue, Government Street, Church Street and Robinson Avenue.
Also check out the following portions of road closures for the 23rd annual Cruisin’ events in the city of Ocean Springs, including Desoto Street, Porter Avenue and Calhoun Street.
Again, these sections of road closures will only be in effect during the Cruisin’ activities in downtown Ocean Springs from October 11th to October 12th.
Ocean Springs school district buses will run their normal schedules during this period, although some parents will have to walk and pick up and drop off their students at some bus stops.
You can visit the city’s website to get a full list of bus stops that will be affected that Thursday and Friday.
We’ll continue to keep you up to date on Cruisin’ the Coast events throughout South Mississippi.
