The City of Biloxi’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting their final movie night of the month.
City officials are expecting large crowds for tonight’s showing of ‘Aquaman.’ While the movie starts at 6 p.m., they’ll have waterslides, carnival games, and concessions.
Bleachers are set-up, however, residents are asked to bring lawn chairs and blankets for the showing.
Cecilia Dobbs-Walton with the City of Biloxi tells News 25 that the celebration is a way to celebrate ‘Parks and Recreation Month.’ “This is an annual event that the department does to celebrate Parks and Recreation Month. Parks and Recreation Month is just to help encourage people to get out in the public, to enjoy the green space, to exercise, and enjoy the recreation that the city has to offer.”
For those interested in the event, it is free of charge.
