The Gulf Coast’s favorite marsupial made his first public appearance this weekend since being found over a week ago.
Those who wanted to get a glimpse of JoJo got a chance to interact with him and his owner, Cody Breland, during a meet and greet at the Blow Fly Inn on Saturday.
JoJo was found on June 7th in the Bayou View area after running away on June 5th from a day camp at Pass Road Elementary School. “I’m just really impressed with the reaction today and everyone’s kindness. People came, telling us they’ve been praying for JoJo. We’re glad he’s home. That means a lot and I’m really, really thankful.”
Breland says that will still be a couple more weeks before JoJo begins to make regular public appearances again.
