The Mississippi Coast Coliseum was filled with graduating seniors tonight.
Three hundred and one St. Martin High School students crossed the stage while family and friends cheered them on.
The graduates wore blue or gold caps and gowns distinguishing the students many achievements throughout their four years.
The students say it’s a special night and it has been a long time coming. Graduate Spencer Lutring said, “A lot of nerves racked up. It’s a big crowd. I’m excited though. My family is here. My friends are here. It’s going to be a great day!”
Graduate Franchot Cannon said, “It feels exciting. I’ve waited these 13 years and it’s here. My family came out from Texas and California.”
Graduate Alexis Walker said, “It’s like all my dreams finally came true. I’m done with high school after tonight. It’s just a blessing.”
