State Baseball Championship Series: St. Martin vs. Desoto Central


If the St. Martin baseball team was going to keep its season alive in a win or go home game two in the 6A state championship series, the Yellowjackets were going to have to manufacture some runs against the eighth ranked team in the nation and that would be easier said than done on this day.

St. Martin taking part in its first-ever state championship series, coming off a 3-1 defeat in game one at the hands of Desoto Central.

Desoto repeats as 6A state champions as the Jaguars win 5-0.

St. Martin wraps up its historic 2019 campaign with an overall record of 27-9.
