Gulfport Police Department is back at it again for another Home Depot workshop and this time it will have mothers in mind.
This Saturday, children in the community will have a chance to handcraft a special gift for mom. Gulfport police will be on hand with workers from Home Depot to craft picture frames. It is free for anyone who wants to attend.
Everything will run from 9 to 12 with officers being on hand until 11. This is the second time Gulfport police has partnered with Home Depot for those workshops. Lt. Joshua Bromen with Gulfport PD said, “It’s just an opportunity for us to engage with the community in kind of a different home. Home Depot has done this for several years and they have been very successful with it. We wanted to partner with them and it also opens a lot of other doors for relationships and conversations.”
The workshop will be at the Home Depot on Creosote Road. If you miss out they will be holding similar workshops the first Saturday of every month for the rest of the year. To register for this event click here.
