It was all about food, fun, and fundraising in Moss Point tonight for the 11th annual Taste of Jackson County.
Eighteen Coast restaurants like Brady’s Steak and Seafood, The Shed BBQ, and Tara’s Kitchen featured a variety of food and drinks including prime rib, jambalaya, gumbo, pulled pork, and more. The ‘Sicily Swing Trio’ performed live and had people flocking to the dance floor.
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce organizes this event each year as a way to show off all that Jackson County has to offer in the food industry. “We have such a turn out every year. This is our eleventh year like I said earlier. People look forward to it, our restaurants look forward to it and we will have a lot of restaurants who will come up to us tonight and sign up for next year. So that’s a great thing for the chamber as well as our community. It’s important to promote any business that we have here in Jackson County.”
