2019 Thunder over the Sound: Air and Space Show
There’s plenty of time to brace yourself and prepare for yet another magnificent air show here on the Coast.
Keesler Air Force Base and the City of Biloxi are preparing for the 2019 Thunder over the Sound: Air and Space Show set to take off May 4th through the 5th. It’s a one-of-a-kind event where a base and its surrounding city will be jointly hosting one air show in two locations for all to see.
The first show, in the morning, will take place at Keesler Air Force Base. The afternoon show is set to take place along the Biloxi Beach just off Highway 90 with White Avenue being the show center.
In both shows, during the two day event, the United States Air Force Thunderbirds will fly only a few feet from wingtip to wingtip over the Mississippi Sound, showing off their incredible skills and capabilities.
Solo pilots will showcase some of the maximum capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the Air Force’s premiere multi-role fighter jet.
