$200,000 Bond set for Stabbing Suspect

Initial court hearings for the suspects involved in the Ocean Springs stabbing case go in two completely different directions.
Twenty-three year-old Adam Warren was arrested for disorderly conduct. Eighteen year-old Vantonio William Jr. was arrested on two counts of aggravated assault for a stabbing that took place at the Elks Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday.
The arresting officer in the case requested that the disorderly conduct charge against Warren be dismissed.
However, William wasn’t so lucky. A judge set his bond for $200,000 on two counts of aggravated assault during a preliminary hearing held immediately after his initial court appearance.
William will be held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center until his next court appearance in front of a grand jury.
