2 Bay St. Louis police officers involved in Wednesday morning mutli-vehicle crash on Highway 603

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Bay St. Louis Police Department says two of its officers were involved in a Wednesday morning multi-vehicle crash on Highway 603.

Police say the officers were helping the driver of a disabled 18-wheeler when their patrol units were struck by a vehicle traveling on the highway.

According to the department, the officers sustained only minor injuries, and everyone involved in the crash is okay.

Police are reminding drivers to slow down, remain alert and move over when approaching emergency vehicles or disabled vehicles along the roadway.
