2/22 – Jeff Vorick’s “Warm, Humid Pattern Continues” Ash Wednesday Evening Forecast

Temperatures remain very warm for the end of February! Winds are beginning to back off across the area. Overnight, there will be the potential for sea fog to develop again. It looks like it will be more widespread due to winds backing off for the area as a whole. Because of that, there is a Dense Fog Advisory in effect from 9 PM until 10 AM tomorrow morning.

There will be more clouds around Thursday. Temperatures will be quite warm across South Mississippi. A 20% chance of showers cannot be ruled out across the area but widespread rainfall is not expected.

Sea fog will be a lingering problem because of lighter winds. Clearer skies will be around this weekend but warmer temperatures will remain in the area. Rain chances will increase again ahead of a cold front approaching Monday.
