2/18 – Rob Knight’s “Colder” Friday Morning Forecast

With the cold front now east of our area temperatures will begin to drop off. The high for today will be in the mid-50s with tonight’s low being in the mid-30s. Skies will slowly clear throughout this afternoon, with lingering upper level non rain producing clouds overnight. High pressure will make its way back into the area shaping this weekend’s forecast. The weekend will have sunshine and rebounding temperatures into the mid-60s.

Upper level clouds will begin increasing Sunday with a warm front moving from the southwest towards the northern Gulf of Mexico. Rain will hold off until Monday, with isolated showers moving north throughout the viewing area. A series of disturbances will affect the weather pattern throughout the week, keeping elevated rain potential in the area. This will also bring warmer conditions with temperatures running on average 10 degrees above seasonal normal.
