17-year-old arrested, charged with aggravated assault in Gulfport shooting
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV) -The Gulfport Police Department arrested a 17-year-old in connection to a shooting that left one man injured.
On May 14, officers responded to the 3300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard following reports of a shooting. Once on scene, officers located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable but critical condition.
Authorities say the 17-year-old suspect has been charged with one count of aggravated assault. He was processed and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held on a $250,000 bond.
