Rain moved into the area last night and has been making the transition to SNOW/SLEET to the NW in northern Louisiana. Rain will continue through today becoming WIDESPREAD and converting into SNOW/SLEET mix from H’Burg north…midday/mid-afternoon. SEVERAL WATCHES/WARNINGS are in effect to include a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY all the way down to our interior counties. A light WINTRY MIX could make it down to the interior coastal counties late this evening towards midnight as the moisture departs the area. COLD AND WINDY overnight with winds gusting into the 20 MPH range through Saturday afternoon.
