14th annual Grillin’ on the Green Festival in Biloxi
Saturday in Biloxi was the 14th annual Grillin’ on the Green Festival and when you add live music to a cook off, only good things can come out of it.
People gathered in Downtown Biloxi to shop with some of the many vendors. Despite not having the parade, there was still live music, a competitive BBQ cookoff, and some dancing.
There was something for everyone at the festival as all types of items were being sold from t-shirts to art to popcorn.
Biloxi Main Street President Corey Christy says it is great to be able to get out again to do these types of things. “We usually go in March of course, but because of the challenges of the year we had to postpone a couple times, but we ended up with a beautiful day, a great crowd, not quite to our usual numbers but really close. So, we’re really happy with the way it turned out.”
Christy says that Grillin’ on the Green will be held next March with the parade.
